What should be paid attention to in the design of electrophoresis process (2)
In the previous article, we have shared some precautions in the design of electrophoresis process, this time we continue to analyze related matters.
1.Phosphating slag removal
Any type of phosphating solution will produce more or less sediment (Note: There are very few color iron phosphate phosphating sediments), so it is necessary to set up a phosphating slag removal device when designing the process, especially when spray phosphating is used. The slag device is indispensable. Typical slag removal devices include: inclined plate settler, high-level settling tower, centrifugal slag remover, paper bag filter residue, etc. can be selected.
2. Tank body and heating pipe material
Although the selection of the material for the tank heating tube is not in the scope of process design, not making a statement in the process design may cause the negligence of the equipment manufacturing process and affect the operation of the entire production line. For sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid pickling, the material of the tank can only be glass fiber reinforced plastic, granite, plastic, and the heating tube can only be lead-antimony alloy tube, ceramic tube, not stainless steel. If it is phosphoric acid pickling, its tank body and heating tube materials can be made of stainless steel, of course, glass fiber reinforced plastic, plastic, granite can be used.
3. Overflow washing
In the process design, we more recommend overflow water washing to ensure that the workpiece is fully cleaned and reduce the phenomenon of stringing. When overflowing, water should be introduced from the bottom, and overflow holes should be opened on the diagonal.
The three points of attention in the above analysis are supplementary parts of the previous article. For more content in this regard, you can pay attention to our other articles. We will provide you with more information on electrophoretic process design.
